[It's bright and early in the morning when Vanellope can be seen in the playground outside the school. First period is Writing and there's homework and she forgot, so she's trying to finish hers before the school bell rings. Clearly this means it's okay to be scribbling it down in the journal - she doesn't have any thing else with her, and she can always tear the page out later on!]

[... Yeah. Anyway, feel free to run into her in the school yard or even respond via voice/written! Just remember, she's gotta make it to first period, so you might not even get replies til lunch or something. ]

Umm, that grown ups are really gross and weird about the other grown ups they like? [Vanellope gives a little shudder.] Kisses are okay, I guess, but what they were doin' wasn't kissing! [She sticks out her tongue.] It's like they were trying to eat each other!

[Gross, Vanellope, don't describe it like that!]

You just too young to get it! When you find a boyfriend, you'll be trying to eat him up too! ♥

[Although tbqh, Anise doesn't see the appeal of voraciously trying to devour each other's tongues either, but she can't pass up the chance to poke fun.]

Ew, why would I wanna boyfriend! [Yuck!]

And even if I did, we'd do a bunch of way cooler stuff than that! Like racing. Or eating real food! [Vanellope knows how to have real fun!]

You know people can do all sorts of "gross" kissing while doing those things too, right? Especially when eating!

What? No way! You can't eat someone and eat something actually yummy at the same time. [She scrunches up her face, trying to imagine... ugh gross why are you making her think these things, Anise!]

That's what makes it so gross! They get food everywhere, because their mouths are moving around so much. Oh, and I heard some people even feed each other with their mouths! Talk about a waste of good food.

[Let Anise educate you in the ways of the world.]

[Vanellope's expression gets a little bit more disgusted with every word from Anise's mouth. Eventually she waves her hands up at the older girl, making a face.]

Ughhh stop, stop it! No more! I don't wanna hear it, that's really gross!

Are you sure? I'm just trying to help you write your thing! It's pretty rude of you to brush me off just like that!

I don't care! And my thing's fine! [She blows a raspberry at Anise. Pbbbth.] Go do your own thing!

[Yick - Anise pulls a disgusted face. Why did you do that right in front of her face!!!] Hey, what's that for?!

[Uh oh, she almost forgot about her own paper. She quickly checks her watch for the time, then decides it's too late: the bell is only a few minutes away.]

Don't worry about me! I'm sure the professor will understand. [The grin makes a return.] But she wouldn't be that understanding if I don't try my best to help you! Come on, let me see the rest of the thing!

No way! I told you what was in it already! [She makes a vain attempt to keep it away-- when it occurs to her that she can glitch out of reach. Which she does, appearing a few feet away, and nearer the school building.]

Ha! Can't catch me now, huh?

[Anise blinks and flinches back from the sudden burst of blue light, her jaw dropping in surprise when Vanellope appears in a completely different place in another blue blur.]

Hey! [She had done that during the snowball fight too, hadn't she?] No fair, you always do that!

Uh, yeah. What's the use of having a cool power if I don't use it? [Vanellope grins. And sticks her tongue out at Anise. Ha.]

[She sticks her tongue back at Vanellope, before deciding that it's a childish thing to do and standing up instead, hands on her hips.]

Boooo. That makes things way less fun!

I think you mean way less boring! I mean, how many people do ya know can do this? [She glitches over behind Anise,] Or this? [And now she's on top of a tree!] Oooor this! [Aaand back right in front of her!]

It's pretty neat!

[Much to her shame, Anise jumps when the other girl suddenly glitches right in front of her.]

Whoa, you - !

[Maybe it's lucky she's cut off by the bell ringing to interrupt them.]

Aaand there's the bell! [Vanellope grins one last time at Anise.] Catch ya later, slowpoke! I've got homework ta turn in!
